midbar  (desert in Hebrew)

continuous line ,limiting lines, infinite lines, boundaries.

open blue skies representing endless possibilities versus the structured horizon line of the desert landscapes – limiting our view.

Avner uses nature as an image to one’s personal development. we push our boundaries to move forward and develop ourselves, but always keep on searching for a structure that better works for us – at a certain point of time… this is our constant endless battle for happiness.

The series was photographed in the israeli desert at Kina river in 2020 and in between pandemic lockdowns.
